So here we are, approaching the end of another long pre-season in anticipation of the return of the premier league. It's been a more interesting pre-season for some teams than others, several big money switches, many attention drawing friendly results, but that will count for nothing once those whistles blow at 3pm on Saturday. So let battle commense, shock results, controversy, cup runs, wonder-goals and wonder-kids, hopes slashed and dreams made, ferocious support from the worlds greatest league in the worlds greatest game.
